12-09-2019· I own a .308 Model Seven (18.5" barrel and wood stock) it was from early in production guessing manufacture was around 1983-1985. It has been one of my absolute favorite GA deer rifles. Perfect for treestand or slipping through thick cover. I don't wait 5 minutes for the tube to cool down because in a hunting deer the second shot ,if needed ,comes with in seconds.
